Family History Prints
A Custom Designed Artwork - £195
★★★★★ "I bought this as a gift for my father, who has spent years uncovering our family tree. Seeing his hard work transformed into a beautiful narrative piece was incredibly moving." - Louisa T., York
Whether you're purchasing as a gift or for your own home, your A3 print will be produced to the highest archival quality using Giclée printing, ensuring it stands the test of time, with free delivery included.
What information will be included in the print?
Our Family History Prints celebrate the times you've put into uncovering your roots. Designed specifically for family historians who have already completed their family tree research, we follow a single, direct line, either Patrilineal or Matrilineal.
We extract your historical dates, locations, and census records, transforming this into a beautiful narrative print.
What does it mean to trace your Matrilineal or Patrilineal family line?
The terms matrilineal/patrilineal and maternal/paternal are often used interchangeably when talking about family history research. Simply put, if you were researching your maternal line, you are looking at all individuals on your mother’s side of the family. Equally, researching your paternal family means you are looking at all those on your father’s side of the family. Your matrilineal lineage, however, follows the female line back through your mother, and her mother, and her mother and so forth. Similarly, patrilineal lineage follows the male line from your father to his father and his father.

Every family tree has a unique story, but layout limits can vary. Once you place your order, you can grant us brief, temporary 'Guest' access to your digital tree. In the highly unlikely event that your research requires complex structural layout changes we cannot accommodate, you will be issued a full refund immediately.
The Process: From Purchase to Print
Share your tree: When you purchase a print, you'll be given the opportunity to provide a link or temporary 'Guest' access to your Ancestry or Findmypast tree, nominating who will be the subject of the print. You’ll then receive a confirmation email detailing timescales (usually 4 weeks), and if needed, requesting further information.
We create your print: Once access is confirmed, we get to work extracting your information and weaving your historical findings into a cohesive narrative.
Approve your proof: Once complete, you'll receive a digital copy of the print to review and request any change.
Receive your print: Your finished print is delivered ready to frame.
Terms
Our prints are intended to give a illustrative overview of a single, verified family line provided entirely by the client. We do not engage in primary archive or repository research in order to create the print.
Unlike standard research constraints, our custom designs can extend as far back as your verified direct line permit.
Final text layouts are heavily dependent on typography and spacing restrictions. In rare instances where biographical details are text-heavy or overly sparse, we will work closely with you to adjust the layout structure appropriately during the proofing phase.
All customer tree access is treated with absolute confidentiality and access is revoked immediately upon final design sign-off. Client files, login details, or copies of data are never permanently stored.
